Terms of Service

By accessing or using Greenside Live ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Greenside Live provides a platform for golf tournament management, live streaming, scoring, peer-to-peer contests (pigeon challenges), and social features. The Service includes the greenside.live website, the Greenside Live mobile application, and associated streaming infrastructure.

Access to the Service is currently by invitation only. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@greenside.live if you believe your account has been compromised.

Greenside Live facilitates peer-to-peer contests (pigeon challenges and parimutuel pools) between players. These are social contests between known participants at golf events.

• Greenside does not act as a house, bookmaker, or gambling operator.
• All contests are between individual players who know each other.
• Greenside does not hold, process, or transfer any contest funds.
• Payment settlement is handled directly between players using their own payment methods (Venmo, Zelle, etc.).
• Greenside provides tracking and reminder features only.
• You are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws regarding peer-to-peer contests in your jurisdiction.

Live streaming is provided at participating golf courses with Greenside streaming hardware. By participating in an event with live streaming, you acknowledge that video coverage may include footage of the course and players during the event.

Stream access is restricted to event participants and course members unless the course administrator makes a stream public.

You retain ownership of content you upload (profile photos, chat messages). By uploading content, you grant Greenside a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service.

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate another person or claim a team spot that is not yours
• Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Redistribute or publicly broadcast live streams without authorization

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Greenside is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to disputes between players regarding contest outcomes or payments.

Greenside is not responsible for the accuracy of scores, standings, or contest results. Players are responsible for verifying their own scores and settling contests directly.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may request account deletion by contacting support@greenside.live.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email.
